Back at the inspiration

 It is February 9, 2022 and I have found my inspiraton again.  My hope is that after a long winter of not creating that a new spring has arrived - in January 2022!  


I was able to finish this piece for a friend.  It is called "Not Alone".  









I have a number of new pieces coming: two windswept-bonsai styles, one large, maple tree (in a broom-bonsai style), and a couple other smaller pieces that I am finishing up.  I hope to get pictures out soon.

Trees in January

Here is a tree that has had a great voice.  It has a sad story - losing the main trunk, but because of a strong branch, the tree is thriving.  New branches are growing to fill the empty space.  Nature always does that.  It hates a void, and new life rushes in to enjoy the free space and the sun. This is a cute little tree.  I was trying a new style - and I like the effect.  It looks like it is stuck not only in the wind, but also the rain! Where the tree has no name.

 Hi All.   Good to be back at tree making again.  I had a big push before the Arts-and-Crafts fund-raiser the end of April.  Here is one of the trees I most recently finished.  It is one of those pieces that looks very different depending on the view.
