Inspiration and an update: the new workshop

Personal update:
The move to Orillia has been a long process of getting settled.  We're forging a new place of being and living - like the show Josh likes: Forged in fire. My new workshop is almost up and ready.  I just need to get the exhaust fans wired and the sink installed.

I have a coffee shop that is willing to sell my work.  We are in the process of figuring out the little details but she is also open to the possibility of doing tree-making workshops at the coffee shop in the evening.

Here is a tree that has had a great voice.  It has a sad story - losing the main trunk, but because of a strong branch, the tree is thriving.  New branches are growing to fill the empty space.  Nature always does that.  It hates a void, and new life rushes in to enjoy the free space and the sun. This is a cute little tree.  I was trying a new style - and I like the effect.  It looks like it is stuck not only in the wind, but also the rain! Where the tree has no name.

 Hi All.   Good to be back at tree making again.  I had a big push before the Arts-and-Crafts fund-raiser the end of April.  Here is one of the trees I most recently finished.  It is one of those pieces that looks very different depending on the view.
